Mom's Red Velvet

I made these red velvet cupcakes for Mother's Day this Sunday. I didn't go all out with them... I actually used a box for the cupcakes, frosted them with a little cream cheese icing, and tossed some fresh berries on top to make them look pretty. We had some family over after church on Sunday, and everyone ate them with some vanilla ice cream. YUM!
