This recipe came straight from the Food Network website. I had been watching Ace of Cakes all Sunday afternoon and decided I needed to make something stat. The crust is made of crushed pretzels, then there is a layer comprised of a mixture of cream cheese, cocoa powder, heavy whipping cream and sugar. The top layer is strawberry gelatin made using pineapple juice instead of water with fresh chopped strawberries. This "pie" had to sit in the fridge for about an hour to set. I personally loved it, but it wasn't a favorite for all. The mixture of different tastes (salty pretzels, chocolate, fruit) was the complaint. However, I think it is a perfect cold dessert/snack for a hot day and I am going to go enjoy another piece outside right now!
